first of all, hide that halloween candy!! All those little nimbles,taste and bites are what gets us into trouble. Hide the candy bowl and put out a fruit bowl instead.
water,water water. Did you know your body needs at least 2 quarts of water a day? Thats how much we lose each day in sweat,urine and what we exhale. Its important to replace that water because our whole body is made up of water.the body is 70% water, the muscles are 75% water, brain cells are 85% water, blood is about 82% and bones about 25% water. We can live 5-7 weeks without food but only about 5 days without water.
Water is often an instant healer. When your body needs water,it lets you know in many different ways. Some people suffer with headaches,arthritis,skin problems,back pain,digestion problems etc. It also is the best way to flush out all the toxins in our body. And when it comes to trying to lose weight, we need lots and lots of water. so much water that you need to pee every half hour!!!! It will fill you up so you eat less.
Water is also so good for your skin and your hair.If your skin and hair feels dry, drink more water. They also claim it can prevent attention dificit disorder and help prevent memory loss. All this by drinking water!!!!!
Here's the thing though,tap water is not the way to go, it has chemicals in it. So, bottle water right??? Wrong!! Did you know bottled water is less regulated than tap water and can be just as toxic??? Since bottled water is considered a food, it is regulated under the food and drug administration,tap water is regulated under the Environmental protection agency. the only requirement is that is be as safe as tap water. So your best bet is a BPA free drinking bottle and FILTERED water. You can buy a britta water pitcher from target or walmart for about $25, it filters the water.
