Its that time of year when we all think about what we are thankful for. I bet every one of us are thankful for our health, for our bodies that get us where we need to be and function the way its suppose to. We may not all be happy with the way our body looks, but thats a whole other blog!!!
Now i have a question for you, how well do you take care of your body,your health,your mind and well being?? I know, i hear it all the time, you would exercise if you had more hours in a day, you would eat healthier if it was cheaper and more convenient, blah,bhal blah! If 24 hours in one day isnt enough,why would 30 hours be enough? We would only fill those hours with other things we do now and still complain. Here's the deal,if you would spend 30 minutes a day exercising, you would feel so much better. Ask anyone who does it, i dare you. Ask some one who eats healthy if they feel better. It's a fact, you will!!!!! You do not have to run 10 miles a day or power lift, you just have to move and get your heart rate up. I love the people who complains they never have time to exercise but will tell me about several tv shows they watch. HELLO, if you have time to sit in front of a tv, EXERCISE while you are doing it!!! What about the choices you're making with your food. Do you eat lots of fried foods,lots of sugar,chemicals, trans fats?? Do you know what that does to your arteries,your insulin levels, your weight??? But yet people complain about our health care, wondering for how long we will have it, how much it will cost etc. Here's an idea,take care of yourself now,so hopefully you wont need to use the health care so much. Do you rest properly?? Its very important for you to rest,get your sleep. You'll feel better, you'll look better and you will be more alert.
Just a few thought for all of you who are thankful for your health. Please dont take it for granted,its such a gift. You never will know how long you will have it, so do what you can to preserve it. If you haven't taken care of yourself,its not to late to start. Dont wait til jan 1st, dont wait til next monday, not even tomorrow,start now!! You are so worth it!!!
